Marcel this is the setups i will use Sunday. Maybe i will chance something to the race setup, i tested it but i will do it again.

Jarama Qualify

Jarama Race

I did 1:19.0 with qualify setup with soft tyres. (i hope to jump to 1:18...)
With race setup i did 1:20.9.

I feel this settigs as easy to drive. We can really both finish the race. Just be prudent and dont overcome your limits if pressed. Ciao.

Hehe, you are ready to achieve a points finish at Jarama?

I dont hope to archieve a point here, im too slow, even if i will chase it all the season.
But will be a good result if the Fittipaldi can overcome the Alfa Romeo in the Master cup at this race.

I was absent since my last message. Unfortunatly I'll be very often absent till mid April and get no time at all to practice. But then it will become better and I'll have more free time .
I did not make any test on Jarama till now and I don't know the track at all
So I I'll finish the race this will be anyway extra for me. You have all the responsability to save the team
It's really fair from you to share your setup with me. Otherwiswe I should use the standrat one. Nice to know that the setup you made is a stable one. This evenning is the only possibility for me to make some training until the race sunday. So I'll use your setup for sure and try to do my best. ut for sure my time won't be good sorry. I'm waiting on April to get more time to practice and then be able to share more comments with you.

I did only 50m. of the race!!
I hope now I'll have since mid April a bit more time to make trainings and be a bit better.
This also prove your stup was good. I made the race training with and I felt a good impress. The brake were better as the one for Long beach! at least for me.
Now I will train myself on Zolder and hopefully you will bring a new good setup. In the meantime I'll use the one from Jarama. With adjusted gears.

Marcel, this is a provisional setup. It is a soft one because there is a brake point very dangerous here and this can help to do it safely. The gratest change is the gear setup, i optimized it to use it more efficiently.
I did few laps, by now i did 1:28.0

But he have try hard!
In fact, He was pushing very hard when he closing the gap to catch me while there was only a few laps to go... Until pushing too far and sliding out of the track (without damage). The gap was big enought to save my skin but it was very, very close...

Il revenait très fort et m'avait quasiment rattrapé lorsqu'il est sorti un peu large. Du coup, l'écart est redevenu confortable pour moi mais il était moins une...

And i did a stupid mistake. This was my first duel at all, i was too mutch nervous and i had not idea what to do to pass you. My purpose was to press on you to push you into error, but you didnt.

A little bit of advice for the next time...

First, your tactical option is very wise: going slowly until the real action can pay is very smart and it will be usefull again in the future, for sure.

Second, you don't have to feel the pressure because the pressure is here for everyone on the track. When you were on my back, I was hoping for your mistake, almost waiting for it and this attitude help me a lot to avoid going too fast.

So, I'm glad to race with you Alessandro: I like to have smart and fair opponents such as you.

lol, tactical option is wise, but i would prefer the fastest way. Always full throttle^^ and i use every possible space on track. If i am at my limit, i´ll make no errors, otherwise slow driving is dangerous for me^^
The pressure can be a problem, but you have to keep cool. The most important thing is practise. You have to know what your car does in every situation, then you have a good chance to finish. You should see my logitech wheel if i am driving in race. Sometimes It looks like i would drive a rally car

I tested your setup this evening; I don t know well yet the track but I can alrady say your setup is very good for me. Stable well balanced; Gear are also good. I dont know if it is a fast one you are better than me to test this point but I love it. I think a very good setup for a long race as we will have to do. I hope I ll be able to test it a bit more before the next race and give you additional comments. But I think they wont be a lot to adjust.

I think you wanted to say 1:26:3 ^^, with softs 1:23:400, with q-tires a deep 1:22 should be possible

Ok, so my time is good. I just hope to finish, this will be a difficult race, like jarama.

Its more difficult than Jarama, because the place beside the track is very rare and slippy
