Pour les nouveaux arrivants ( et les autres ), je vous rappelle ces quelques règles :

- Pas de pseudos sur le serveur, on court sous son vrai nom.

- Pas de chat en qualifs, encore moins en course. On respecte les pilotes en piste, et on attend la fin de la session pour parler ou s'excuser si besoin.

- Grande prudence au départ, la course est longue, les voitures fragiles. Le replay du départ sera examiné après course, tout comportement trop dangereux sera sanctionné pour la prochaine course. La modération sera tout de même plus souple pour les nouveaux arrivants.

- Reglez votre voiture de façons à ce qu'elle ne fume ni en qualifications ni course. Des sanctions seront prises le cas échéant. Il est recommandé de mettre le radiateur au maximum pour la course, les voitures chauffent énormément sur la grille de départ, ne jouez pas de l'accelerateur à l'arrêt. N'oubliez pas qu'il y a un tour de formation.

Nous utiliserons le mod GP1979 Master Series V1.0 et le circuit Hockenheim 1979.



Newcomers ( and others ), just keep in mind this few rules for the race :

- No nicknames on server, everybody race with his real name

- No chat during qualifying session and race. Please respect others drivers on the track, and wait for the end of the session to chat.

- Please be very careful at the start, the race is long, cars very sensitive to contacts. The start's replay will be carefully reviewed and there will be sanctions against wreckless drivers.
Nevertheless, we will take in consideration that newcomers haven't necessarily an experience of such races.

- Set up your car so it doesn't smoke during qualifying and race or you'll incur a sanction. It is higly recommended to set the radiator size at the maximum for the race, cars heat up in huge proportions on the starting grid. Don't play with hrottle when your car is stopped.
Dont forget there is a formation lap.

We will use the GP1979 Master Series V1.0 mod and the 79 version of the Hockenheim track.

It's online now if you want to test. It's the usual server, we use it since the start of the season.

I've just tried to connect and I'm getting time outs.

I've got to go out for a couple of hours now... I'll have to give it another go when I get back.

Still getting timeouts

No its probably this end.. I can't seem to connect to any server... just getting timeouts.. can't work out what it is though..

Damn. Maybe try to reboot your modem/router. Server will reboot in 5min.

Dammot.. Software firewall is disabled, PC rebooted, router rebooted.. nothing.. everything else is working.

The only thing that has changd since the previous races is that I'm on Vista now..

Well, the server is now back, if that doesn't work now, I'm really sorry but I have no clue for your problem

Weird, I try to connect manually with the IP and it says it can't find anything....

Use "FFSCA3.FFSCA.INFO", the other IP doesn't seem to be working.

It showed up using that, but still a timeout. I'm trying a last ditch attempt by reactivating the license.

But things seem to be conspiring against me tonight... The email hasn't arrived yet...

bon, n'importe nawak cette course, je laisse passer plein de gars pendant le premier tour, puisque je croyais que c'était le tour de mise en grille comme prévu, hors il en est rien, une fois bien enflé, trop énervé je fais de la daube, me casse, bonne bourre; )

I'm so sorry. With this new server, I forgot to set the formation lap. I'm pissed off.

Well I got it working in the end by opening the ports on my router of all things! I've only ever done that when hosting races. NEVER have I had to do that to join races. Weird.

But I'd reinstalled Rfactor in desparation and forgot to copy my controller.ini so although I had time to quickly configure my axis and button controls I completely forgot about the sensitivity. It was the default 50% and I usually drive much more direct than that. And the track marker boards were different in a few places from what I had been practising so had to relearn my braking points.

There was a lot of confusion at the back at the start as we all thought it was a formation lap. By the the time we decided to just go we were 30 seconds behind the leader.

Anyhow after about 10 laps I lost it under power and didn't catch it and brushed the barriers. I bent the thing a bit, but it was still drivable. Then about 10 laps later it happened again after which is was undrivable. It was silly ones which probably wouldn't have happened if I'd set the wheel sensitivity!

I was on the back foot tonight. Annoying since I'd put in a lot of practice for it. Racing is racing though.

mais apres son premier pilote le second n'a pas fait bcp mieux

pourtant c'est bien la premiere fois que je m'amuse sur ce mod sur un circuit facile ou apres ce depart cahotique
je me bat pour une 8eme place et puis je me prends con..ment un stop & go pour un drapeau bleu ( un peu trop soutenu ) et la impossible de faire mon stop and go j'ai beau rentre 3 fois j'ai pas su comment faire a chaque fois mes mecanos me changent les pneus
donc au bout de trois tours je me prends un drapeau noir
