MOD GP 1979 Master Series

Its me again. I am learing to understand how the Physics of rFactor ar built. Currently i am experimenting with the TBC File for Tyres. I had contact with one of the greatest Physic Guys around here Niels_at_home and he explained me alot. I edited the Tires for the 88 Mod (release only if carrera.4 is happy with it) and now i had a look at the GP79 Tires. They are playing a little trick which allows to controll the car quite nicely, but with some more realistic values it can be done better. I am currently testing a 1979 TBC File with realistic Curvs and wonder if you, Guillaume, would like to have it for this mod.
I am also in contact with the GP79 Team (mainly about AIWs for the Tracks) and will send it to them.


PS: Can i take over the Alfa? You know at Shadow there is not much room for improvement :-)

What do you mean by "better" ?

Well, I'm not really for changing the general physics of the cars during the season, drivers joined to play one mod, not another. But it can be interesting for next year

By the way, I'm sorry, but there is no regular Alfa seat available right now ( Fabien and Albert are the regular drivers in this team ).

"Better" means that the Lateral Grip drop-off Value is more like what the system needs to calculate the Grip, which should result in more realistic tirephysics.
The HistoriX Mod has the same sort of Drop off Curves, and i think the tire physic of this mod is one of the best.

The reason why you can slide the GP79 Cars is a little trick, diffrent lateral drop off curves in the front and back of the car. In reality it doesnt work that way, i think. And with my values the car is slideable without this trick, and has approximatly the same grip as the actual GP79 Cars. So thats what i call better.

But your argument with not changing it during the season is convincing!

Oups boulette ...apres avoir installe Le mod Gt historique (qui est superbe)j'ai parametré mon g25,et du coup j'ai perdu les parametres pour le mod f1 1979 ...

Frank, il est conseillé de faire une deuxieme installation de rFactor pour ce mod, afin qu'il ne touche pas ton rFactor de base. Y'a meme moyen de partager les circuits entre les 2 installations.

Merci guillaume,je vais desinstaller le mod et reinstaller sur une sur un Rfactor lite ...
Par contre pour les parametres globaux du G25 (angle de rotation ...) pour gp79 ,peut tu me redonner les valeurs

Je ne sais pas ce que tu utilisais comme valeurs, mais si ça peut t'aider j'ai regroupé tout ce qui concerne mon FFB dans cette archive.
