| Guillamine: Do you have an opinion about the adjusted grip level of the track, which i proposed in an earlyer post and was commented for good from some other drivers? | |

| Well I have really no knowledges in track modding I won't be able to modify them. If you are, why not proposing your modifications ( as far as they dont overwrite any original files ) | |

| well, yes i am. despite doing my own track i am currently "tuning" the GP79 Monaco Track. I think i will have a test version online tonight, then you guys can give me feedback. Of course, the TrackConfic.ini from the cars will have to be adjusted. | |

| Here we go (my classes at the university was postponed)... so here is the track The idea behind: when i had a look at the grip levels of diffrent tracks in rFactor i noticed that f.e. Monaco and Silverstone had exactly the same grip factor, which is unrealistic because Silverstone was a often used race track back in 79 and in monaco there was just 1 Race per year. Another thing is that driver tells, that in Monte Carlo you have to drive with a very soft supspension because of the turns and because monte is a little bit bumpier then other road courses. So i changed the grip level to about 96% of the normal grip and just slightly added a few little but interessting bumps to the track. Let me know what you think of it. REMEMBER: with cold tires right out of the pit, you will have lower grip anyway, so dont judge from that, but drive some laps and then think about giving feedback. http://rapidshare.de/files/39196462/GP_Master_Track_07_Monaco.zip.htmlEdith: I just forgot to tell that the track appears now ingame under a Folder called GP Master Tracks and its Round 7 Monaco. It doesnt overrite any of the existing Files, so dont worry for online mismatches. Just extract the Zip File to your root rFactor Folder!!! | |

| Sounds interesting, I'll give it a try tomorrow I think If you can add some bumps, maybe you could take off some others ? Hockenheim or Osterreichring from the track pack are way too bumpy. | |

| well, i can have a look at it. but i think the problem with hockenheim and Austria is another, its the bad mesh they have, so this would take longer to do, but not impossible. | |

| nice work David, perhaps Guillaume can implement your GP79 Monaco track in his Mod, so we can test it on GPM server | |

| I don't mind putting the turbo at 7 during the race, the problem is even with that I can't finish the race and that's bs considering that we are here first to have fun and I don't see the fun in blowing your engine after 60 laps at Monaco | |

But if you change your driving style it should be possible to finish a race? Thechanges are for all teams?

| another bug are the brabham helmets, all 3 drivers use a blue helmet. Lauda and Piquets Helmets are gone.
Same with Jacky Ickx in the Ligier.

Same with Jacky Ickx in the Ligier. That's normal for Jacky Ickx, I only added the driver ( the file ) but not his helmet, it's the same for Ribeiro and Ribeiro. I didn't try to do their helmets, that's not exactly like skinning cars, but maybe i'll have a look at it. But you're right I forgot the Brabham boys helmets, I'll fix it. By the way, I don't understand why there's this problem with Daly's Tyrrell

| Feedback is hard at Monaco. I'm not really stretching the engine at all and putting together more than 15 laps without taking a wheel off is quite difficult right now. But having said that I have not seen any obvious problems. Dijon will be more telling I think. Darryn | |
