- Which carset do I select when I join the server? Unrestricted, Historical or League?

- Does my car come automatically when I join, or do I select it before I join the server?

None of them
Install our mod and you'll see a new carset called "GP1979 Master Series". This is the one we use. By using our own mod, the original mod isn't modified and you can still join others servers

Yes you have to select your car before joining the server

My name is Robert Neil, and I would like to reserve Alfa Romeo #35.
I have already installed 1979 mod but I can't download the Master Series update The first link gives 404 error and the second one in filefront always asks to wait in line for 10 seconds. I have tried that for many times and still it does not work. Is it possible to download it from somewhere else?

There are no big differences in the physics. Fuel tanks capacities have been increased to suit with long races and qualification tires last a bit longer, but that's all

I assume it adds a few extra cars? Like #19 Fittipaldi and #33 Tyrrell?

Yes it does, for Derek Daly and Alex Ribeiro who both took part in 2 races at the end of the 79 season.

It also adds Rosberg's Wolf, Zunino's Brabham and Ickx Ligier, but aren't allowed in the championship as there never was 2 Wolf, or 3 Brabham or Ligier on the grip this year.
